Book House was a structure producing parts for American battleships in the mid-1800s. Throughout the late 1900s and turn of the century, it belonged to a retired colonel who collected rare books. When he died and the building was sold, those books were quickly and callously destroyed. The heartbreaking loss of that book collection is the genesis of the name Book House.

Book House is an 8,000SF brick-and-beam structure on Catskill Creek. It is the satellite event space to the Flagship Building on our campus, used for private events and celebrations.
